The children’s ministry (KIDS FOR CHRIST) is designed to meet the needs of children (ages 0-11) to worship God at his or her age level of understanding, which prepares the child for more meaningful participation in worship services. It is the primary goal and objective of the children’s ministry to teach the children the Word of God and their authority as a Believer.

In Kids for Christ, there are currently two service sessions: Kids for Christ on Sundays and Kids for Christ on Wednesdays. Both services are for worship and training designed to spiritually prepare each age group to overcome the challenges they will face in life and to become life-long worshippers. The Word of God says in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Kids for Christ services on Sundays and Wednesday are an extension of that training.

This is an exciting area of ministry where ministering to the children becomes a part of your life and not just something you do on the sideline. We encourage you to be yourself! Make God’s Word come alive to them. BE EXCITING! Remember, the Word needs to be in you before you can give it to others.

To train up children to go forth into the world as leaders thoroughly established in the WORD OF GOD. The children will be exposed to and taught the WORD OF GOD beginning at the earliest age possible and that foundation is built upon throughout each age level, with the same emphasis as the adults. Areas of emphasis include: WORSHIP, PRAYER, TEACHING/TRAINING, EVANGELISM, and FELLOWSHIP.

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…”
